In the near future, the Pancrateon of ancient Greece has evolved towards a new art of combat, called Hyper Grapple. It's basically pilot combat in giant robots where people fight to the end till the enemy stops moving. Koichi Hagane, the hero of the story, pilots Iron Muscle with the only goal to defeat Odin and avenge his father Yujiro.

The story ends when Koichi travels to fight Odin.
