Was away, so I’m a bit behind, but it’s a good one. Can’t forget one of my favorite robots of all time. A little thank you from Borot fan #36,578,923.

I have to hand it to Super Robot Wars Z for teaching me about this robot. Took a lot of effort to get it, though. This is Space Warrior Baldios.

It isn't subbed, right?

Some of it is subbed, the first five episodes. There was a blog keeping up with it, but that was back in 2010. The blog is still active, but there hasn't been any more Baldios since that episode.

Here's another one I learned about because of SRW, and this one's subs are still happening. Galactic Cyclone Braiger.

But it all has to come back to Getter. Here's some more Armageddon.

You know, for it's time, Combattler V had some really solid animation during its fight scenes.

It was animated by Sunrise after all. It's still a Toei show though.

Speaking of Sunrise:
King Gainer doesn't always have the big, super impact stuff that I usually like, but I love things like this in simple ways. "I can freeze lava! And I don't mean cool it so it becomes rock. I mean literally turn it to ice."

I didn't know someone had subbed this, but I'm glad that I stumbled onto it. Great Mazinger vs. Getter Robo
I don't know what the song is for this one. I think it's probably the movie's theme, but I don't know who sang it or what it's called. If you can tell me, I'd like to know.

Theme parks are a lot more inspiring than I thought they would be for robot attacks. Gaiking: Daiku Maryuu.

Finally managed to get it after a long while of saying I would. The original 70s Mazinger Z!
I apologize for the weird subtitles. I'm not sure what's up with them either.

Nice entries. Amusing crosses. Kingdan is also one of the most iconic mechanical beasts of the Mazinger series.
There's this Mazinger episode which I heard from someone else, where the mechanical beast kills itself to not let Mazinger get the kill. Pretty glorious I say. Now if I only knew which episode that was.

If you can remember which episode that is, or which mechanical beast it is, make sure to tell me. I'd like to see that.
Originally, this was going to be an Aquarion moment, but there've been copyright problems with it, so I'm not going to force it. Instead, enjoy some Great Mazinger.

It's been a more 70s time recently. The original Mach Drills from the original Kotetsu Jeeg.
The subtitling project for this one is still currently going on by a group called the Skaro Hunting Project. They're up through episode 6.

I guess this would be more mock-70s, but I'd still watch this show if it were real.

Finally managed to get my hands on this one. I didn't know anyone had even English subbed Grendizer. I was just hoping at least for raws, but this is a pleasant surprise.

You can't give cover fire when Dancouga's around. It'll just use you as a weapon.

Something a little different this time. I hadn't considered originally putting in robots that weren't piloted, but if a dog can get in with enough cool stuff, then I don't see why not. First episode of Brave Police J-Decker.
